EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing) is a form of psychotherapy that was developed to resolve symptoms resulting from disturbing and unresolved life experiences. It uses a structured approach to address past, present, and future aspects of disturbing memories. EMDR is used for anxiety, PTSD, anger management, and couples therapy.

Exposure Therapy and Response Prevention (ERP)

Exposure therapy identifies the thoughts, emotions and physiological sensations that accompany our fears. ERP attempts to break the pattern of avoidance (that only strengthens the fear) through measured exposure to progressively stronger stimuli until habituation is reached. ERP can be very effective for anxiety, phobias and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on the patient's previous experiences in an attempt to understand and change dysfunctional coping strategies that have been learned in childhood.
